Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Design and lead the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, and business requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide consulting support to IT teams within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • System Integration: Analyze system requirements and ensure that systems will be securely integrated with current applications.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Documentation: Document all architectural designs and analyses in a comprehensive manner for future reference.

  • Risk Management: Evaluate project constraints and devise alternatives to reduce risks, while performing process re-engineering.

  • Balancing Business and Technical Requirements: Ensure that technical solutions align with business goals while meeting performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Managing Stakeholder Expectations: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and end-users, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ensuring Security and Compliance: Maintain robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Dealing with Legacy Systems: Integrate new solutions with existing legacy systems requiring careful planning and execution.
  • Keeping Up with Technological Advancements: Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends to design competitive and innovative solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them while ensuring project success.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture, software development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in software architecture, programming, and management principles. Experience with cloud-based technologies & infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of various programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python). Familiarity with event-driven architecture and enabling technologies such as Kafka or other JMS-based message/event brokers.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or SAFe for Architects are preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strategic thinking and a strong understanding of business processes.
