As part of our growth, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Projects to lead, manage, and drive the success of our expanding portfolio. Head of Projects – Role & Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Head of Projects at Thinkscape Design Office will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and design quality. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and operational expertise to manage multiple teams and stakeholders while aligning with Thinkscape's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to completion.
  2. Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics aligned with client expectations.
  3. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  4. Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and implement mitigation strategies.
  5. Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, designers, and site teams to drive high performance.
  6. Allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal productivity across multiple projects.
  7. Foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture within the team.
  8. Conduct regular performance reviews and skills development initiatives.
  9. Act as the primary liaison between Thinkscape, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  10. Ensure clear communication, expectation management, and seamless project execution.
  11. Conduct progress reviews, presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
  12. Address client feedback promptly and integrate changes effectively.
  13. Ensure all designs align with Thinkscape's creative vision, brand identity, and industry standards.
  14. Oversee technical drawings, specifications, and material selections for accuracy and feasibility.
  15. Work closely with designers and project teams to resolve design, construction, and operational challenges.
  16. Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  17. Negotiate contracts, scope changes, and variations with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
  18. Ensure all projects adhere to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  19. Optimize project management processes, tools, and best practices to enhance delivery efficiency.
  20. Introduce new project methodologies and technological innovations to improve workflow.
  21. Drive continuous performance improvement initiatives within the studio.
Qualifications & Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Quantity Survey or a related field.
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience managing high-end workplace, commercial, or interior design projects.
  3. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  4. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple project teams simultaneously.
  5. Excellent client management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  6. Experience with project management software (MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
