Network and ICT System Integrator

We are seeking a highly technical skilled and experienced Network Telco and ICT System Integrator to join our Service Delivery (SD) team. As a Network and ICT System Integrator (SI), the candidate will play a critical role in integrating various networks and systems together with applications across our customer network environments, responsible for ensuring seamless project deployment and efficient operations. The candidate should have good hands-on skills and will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors during the initial stages of deployment and implement as per project schedule plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network and ICT System Integration Deployment:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders (Customer, pre-sales, solution teams, project manager) to understand project and business requirements and objectives.
    • Understand and define the network and ICT scope integration strategies and develop a comprehensive integration plan.
    • Identify potential integration challenges and risks and devise mitigation strategies.
  2. System Study and Analysis:
    • Study and review network solutions and proposals.
    • Assess and evaluate existing customer networks and systems to identify integration points.
    • Advise and review network design and solutions based on customer requirements.
    • Provide suitable solutions available in the market.
  3. Integration Development and Testing (pre-testing):
    • Implement integration solutions using appropriate tools and technologies.
    • Simulate test cases to ensure reliability and accuracy of data flow.
    • The staging process is part of the deployment requirements.
  4. Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly the solution team, project managers, and vendors.
    • Communicate integration requirements, progress, and issues to stakeholders, customers, and project teams.
    • Provide guidance and support to the solutions team regarding integration best practices and standards.
  5. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
    • Investigate and diagnose integration issues and system failures.
    • Collaborate with vendors or external partners to resolve integration issues.
    • Provide troubleshooting guidelines and problem tracking.
    • Generate RCA reports to customers and management.
  6. Documentation:
    • Provide technical reports and documents such as UAT, MOP, HLD, LLD, and RCA.
    • Maintain documentation and keep it updated with changes and improvements.
    • Handover documentation should be maintained for future reference.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in networking, computer science, Telco, or IT-related field (equivalent to at least 5 years experience) (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CSSP, AWS certified, AZURE certified, ComTIA Network, JNCIA).
  • Proven experience in system integration including designing and implementing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest networking technologies and protocols including cloud-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of software and applications will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with network technology: SDWAN, Network Routing, and Switching.
  • Familiarity with ICT systems: servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with various network products and ICT solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating network tasks is a plus.
