About the role

Welltop Food Ingredients Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in cultivating and managing key customer relationships, driving sales, and ensuring the successful delivery of our food ingredients products and services.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and maximise account growth
  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities and secure new customers through effective prospecting and networking
  • Accurately forecast sales and manage a pipeline of potential leads and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback to the business to inform product development and service improvements
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar account management or business development role, preferably in the food ingredients industry
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships and driving sales growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and address customer needs
  • Proficient in data analysis and customer relationship management tools
