For our site in LEM Malaysia Sdn Bhd, we are looking for a:

  • To support product transfer/industrialization include understanding of test measurement methodology & automation (PLC, HMI, robotic & etc).
  • To implement tester solution for the calibration and verification of transducers in production lines in collaboration with industrialization team.
  • Program and/or modify existing software PLC and Human Machine Interface.
  • To implement the test bench modification (technical specification, request for quotation, installation) in collaboration with Tester Team from other sites.
  • To define the calibration/test program for new transducer on existing line.
  • To maintain and to document the test benches and the test programs.
  • Participate in design and pre-project studies for the automation of new equipment.
  • Manage the LEM suppliers for automation: write the functional analysis, participate to the supplier selection, follow the development, and validate the realization.
  • Write and/or validate all documentation for equipment realization and maintenance.
  • Work in close collaboration with Industrialization, Manufacturing, Purchasing departments.
  • Give support to operations while the production line ramp-up.

Position requirements:

  • Strong knowledge on test of electrical components.
  • Proficient in programming tools: LabVIEW, Test Stand, PLC, C, Python.
  • Strong knowledge in products and development tools Beckhoff, Schneider.
  • Knowledge in development of Human Machine Interface (Beckhoff, Proface).
  • Knowledge in products and development tools for robotic and for Cobot technology is a plus.
  • Experience in mounting and wiring of electric cabinet / electronic systems.
  • Wide technical culture (electronic, PCBA, mechanical).
  • Strong electrical/electronic trouble-shooting skill.
  • Familiar with test measurement devices.
  • Master/Degree Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Micro-technics…).
  • Experience in the development and release of manufacturing equipment for mass production (in the field of Automotive or Electronics is a plus).
