The Commitment

  • Comfortable working with senior executives regularly
  • Expert with the NetSuite application
  • Set standards and best practices to ensure that all output from the team meets or exceeds the standards. This includes Tools, processes, designs, etc.
  • Design and assist where needed on the development of customizations for various clients, implement and QA changes required on NetSuite to support existing and new needs of the finance and accounting teams, including managing the testing process that includes developing test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines (including SOX) to ensure the quality of financial data and perform regular data audits; resolve data integrity issues
  • Work directly with customers to understand, validate and document their business requirements and map them to NetSuite functionality
  • Solution delivery responsibilities include but are not limited to: requirements gathering, design, documentation, implementing, testing and user training
  • Delivery quarterly reviews and other documentation/reporting to Senior Management
  • Engage in requirements analysis to understand business, functional and project needs
  • Provide high-level estimates for different customizations
  • Ensure that unit/development testing is performed to ensure that solutions meet business specifications
  • Review code and ensure compliance to internal coding standards
  • Help with issue resolutions
  • Author design documents and user manuals for different products
  • Develop different Appficiency products
  • Keep up with new changes and functionality that comes with each new NetSuite release version
  • Hire, lead and improve development team
  • Monitor and manage development queue
  • Create and manage initiatives to develop new processes and enhance current processes
  • Working with consulting team to deliver as planned
  • Review and be accountable for customization performance in Client accounts
  • Build and track improvements in process WRT reliability, TAT, Consultant readiness with scripts/customizations

The Essentials

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or other related studies. MBA is preferred
  • 5+ years in NetSuite ERP (Implementations which include all aspects of the application)
  • Strong excel and BU tool experience
  • 3+ years of Integration(s) on the NetSuite platform
  • Expert level NetSuite technical ability: SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk
  • 2+ years in JavaScript and SQL
  • Strong relationship management, people management and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and deal with changing priorities
  • Experience in consulting, IT, software, or specific business models such as construction, accounting or finance
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or e-commerce applications
  • Experience in managing Software As A Service (SAAS) implementations
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining profitable and reference-able customer relationships
  • Ability to think strategically and align client business pain points to solution options and implementation approach
