SummaryDetailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Be able to administratively configure and manage key security solutions.
  2. Experience with Malware analysis.
  3. Provide 3rd level security solution support ensuring specified service levels are met.
  4. Able to make low level risk assessments of requested changes - making sound decisions before modifying system parameters.
  5. Able to quickly attain an understanding of the functionality and technology of operating systems as well as an understanding of business critical applications and their potential major issues.
  6. Able to provide input to and work with the larger security team members to develop and refine additional monitoring content and use cases.
  7. Exercise basic forensic skills related to providing only relevant data when and for what is being requested.
  8. Provide general security advice/consultation to application/platform owners and convey complex technical details in a short and easy to understand manner.
  9. Upgrade/install application or operating system software and hardware.
  10. Proficient in Information Security.
  11. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of EDR, Application Control, SIEM, Content Filtering and Vulnerability Management.
  12. Intermediate level of understanding in Project Management as well as Change Management.
  13. Intermediate level of understanding in Architecture and Solution Integration.
  14. Knowledgeable in IT Penetration Testing, IT Vulnerability assessments, IT Incident Response Management and IT Security Architecture.
  15. Proficient knowledge of information security standards and regulations.
  16. Knowledge of computer operations/applications support in client/server environment.
  17. Knowledge of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity and disaster recovery.
  18. Skills and Experience in installing and managing complex security solutions.
  19. Ability to predict, detect and respond to potential malicious factors.
  20. Great operating systems knowledge (both Microsoft and *NIX).
  21. Strong resource management and prioritization skills.
  22. Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  23. Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to provide functional or technical project advice to individuals outside the immediate work unit/team.
Typical Experience

4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
