Job Summary

The _Security Specialist_ will be based in _Penang, Malaysia_. _Site Lead's support for all Penang plant and Night Shift compliance tasks (ad-hoc)._

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

- To work with Brand Protection & Security (BPS) site leads in physical and operational security
- procedures to protect company assets in compliance with all local, state, federal applicable laws and Flex policies and procedures, including RBA and Flex CSER standards.
- To assist in maintaining the accuracy and regularly updating site security policies and procedures
- To analyze and identify area for opportunities to strengthen internal processes and minimize risk of loss.
- To assist in execution and management of Brand Protection & Security audits and risk assessment for the sites.
- To assist in ensuring the supply chain security methodologies including logistic, material, procurement and inventory control are being adhered and enforced.
- To assist in all supply chain security assessments/audits i.e. CT-PAT, customer audit, internal and external audit as and whenever directed by the superior.
- To assist in execution and management of Brand Protection & Security audits and risk assessment for the sites.
- To assist in conducting preliminary investigations on any security related incidents; breach, Brand Protection/Intellectual Property issues, loss prevention cases, work place violence etc. accordingly.
- Conduct spot checks, ad-hoc security audits of security service providers (including in graveyard shift) and responsible for their operational functionality reports based on the established KPI and expectations

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

- To work with Brand Protection & Security (BPS) site leads in identifying cost reduction opportunities, propose and implement actions.
- To act as specialist support in the absence of BPS site lead or whenever required/directed by the superior
- To maintain relevant database for BPS Penang daily/weekly/monthly/annually reports, guards’ biometric attendance system, MA/SOW tracking, Perspective status/closure etc.
- To work with Brand Protection & Security (BPS) site leads in physical and operational security
