Job Description

- Work with business departments to develop communication strategies and campaigns that will drive MOONTON's overall esports business goals, focusing on generating viewership demand and maximizing revenue potential across all esports IPs.

- Drive all communications, social media, and storytelling efforts for esports properties across all digital channels, covering end-to-end social media strategy, execution, and reporting for MPL Malaysia, as well as local coverage and narrative amplification of international tournaments like MSC, M series, MWI, SEA Games, and more.

- Maximize results and impact for league sponsors via strong ideation, conceptualization, planning, and execution of all brand activation campaigns in collaboration with the BD team. Develop creative and engaging activations/campaigns tailored to each sponsor showcasing the value of MLBB's esports assets.

- Own end-to-end ticketing activations, operations, and promotion to drive ticket sales and attendance for MPL MY.

- Function as an agile project manager with the responsibility of leading cross-functional projects, managing stakeholders, and delivering results according to each project's OKRs.

- Work closely with the global public relations team to formulate and implement PR and media outreach strategies to support strategic business goals.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., the MY game publishing team, local esports organizations, platforms like TikTok/YouTube, etc.) to identify and capitalize on potential partnership opportunities.

- A strong marketing generalist with experience in social media and/or brand activation. Must be a strategic thinker with the ability to design and execute long-term campaigns that are outcome/business-oriented.

- A personality that strives for excellence and has a knack for communication/storytelling. Must be teachable and highly adaptable to challenging environments.

- While we celebrate personal accomplishments, we expect the ability to work in a team and believe that greater things can be achieved together to fuel a dream team.

- Great writer and a clear verbal communicator. Can organize, summarize, clarify, and communicate ideas simply, succinctly, and accurately.

- Demonstrated ability to think innovatively by connecting the dots, turning information into insight.

- Able to identify, nurture, and help refine compelling creative ideas and concepts, with a strong connection to the core strategy.

- Has a high interest in competitive entertainment, specifically in traditional sports and esports.

- Has a deep understanding of the social media landscape, and experience in establishing strong and out-of-the-box social media strategies in engaging and growing communities.

- An effective collaborator in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment. Able to react at the speed of culture, so nimbleness is a must.

- Having vast connections in media and content creators or KOL would be a big plus point.
