BurdaLuxury Malaysia is searching for an enthusiastic individual with a talent and passion for social media to create an attractive presence for Lifestyle Asia Malaysia, Prestige Malaysia and Augustman Malaysia. The role includes producing best-in-class social media strategies that deliver outstanding results, grow the social media accounts and work effectively within the parameters of the social media process.

A strong background in writing, editing, attention to detail, leadership, excellent time-management skills and an understanding of lifestyle and luxury brands are all essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ownership of content strategy for assigned brands
  2. Conducting industry research and data analysis to identify the most appropriate strategic approach for social
  3. Recommend best practices to executive team members and lead by example of quality content output
  4. Assist the Regional Head of Social Media in running local team's operation and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
  5. Stay on top of industry trends, emerging social media channels, competitor activities and latest technologies to identify opportunities to improve and refine strategy for our brands
  6. Manage assigned social media brands from end-to-end, from ideating, planning to editing and ensuring content is on brand and of consistent quality
  7. Ensure consistent growth in audience engagement, followers and traffic across all channels
  8. Liaise with editorial, marketing and events team to ensure all events and contents are well publicised
  9. Drive social media content calendars that is in sync with editorial and marketing happenings
  10. Continuously improve by capturing, analysing and acting on social data/metrics - fostering positive brand sentiment
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. At least 2 years of experience in social media management
  2. Preferably a relevant educational background in Marketing, Digital Marketing and Communications
  3. Experienced in social media strategies, content planning, content ideation, performance analysis on key platforms Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.– budgeting is a plus
  4. A passion for writing engaging and creative social media content
  5. An understanding of our brands competitor landscape and peer social media communities
  6. Experience using social analytics and content creation tools (Hootsuite, Emplifi, Brandwatch, etc.)
  7. Great time management, attention to detail, multi-tasking skills and excellent project management skills to drive a collaborative work process
  8. Results-driven mindset and confidence in presentation skills
  9. Native-level English fluency essential
  10. Awareness of trends, news and what's buzzworthy
  11. Excellent writing and copy editing skills, as well as a creative tone-of-voice that captures the voice of the brand and engages the audience
  12. Confidence to work independently and productively as a member of a collaborative team
  13. Full of passion, energy and enthusiasm and eager to work in a fast-paced environment
  14. Immediate availability will be an advantage
