About the Role

They are currently looking for an Assistant HR Manager to oversee core HR services at the plant. You'll handle daily HR activities, support business strategies, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with company policies.

  1. Partner with management to resolve people-related issues.
  2. Manage talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  3. Handle employee relations, grievances, and union negotiations.
  4. Ensure compliance with HR policies, local laws, and payroll accuracy.
  5. Support HR strategies and succession planning.
  6. Oversee employee data and prepare necessary reports.
  7. Lead recognition programs and assist with audits.

About the Manager and Team

You will be reporting directly to the HR Manager, working in a team of 3.

Skills & Experience Required

To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will come with at least 5 years of HR experience, especially in a construction or engineering environment. You have strong knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and industrial relations.
