Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in architecture review sessions to provide inputs to the architecture team through framework analysis, design patterns, and prototype specifications to create high-level design specifications.
• Interface with customers for issue resolution, provide status updates, and build customer confidence in the team's ability to deliver to support high customer satisfaction.
• Perform high- and low-level design, provide pseudo codes, implement the prototype, and conduct design reviews to deliver design documents as per customer requirements.
• Participate in estimation activities considering organizational/unit Q&P goals and review the estimates to plan for required budget and resources to successfully execute the project.
• Guide the team in developing optimized high-quality code deliverables (Code Configuration, Documentation), perform code deliverable reviews and unit test plan reviews, conduct independent testing, and sign off code release for testing stage to build applications conforming to project standards and requirements.
• Provide inputs for the overall implementation plan, lead deployment of applications/infrastructure and post-production support activities to enable production of application/system/infrastructure.
• Participate in the analysis of incoming cases/tickets, assign tickets to team members, track fixing tickets and verification of the fixes, track SLAs, perform root cause analysis of defects and elimination of root causes, running process improvement initiatives to reduce defects and close production issues.
• Build a repository of the team's collective knowledge, seek information, and leverage knowledge from other projects to drive higher efficiency and effectiveness while preserving organizational knowledge.
• Mentor the team on technical competencies and provide performance feedback of individual team members to the Project Manager to manage performance.
• Participate in discussions with customers to gather scope information and perform analysis of scope information to provide inputs for project scope documentation.
• Participate in estimation, staffing analysis, and solutioning to provide inputs for preparing solution delivery of the proposal.
• Train team members on project processes and provide input on process tailoring and quality goals to finalize project quality plan.
• Participate in requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirement gaps/issues (both functional and non-functional) and come up with a comprehensive requirement document.
• Provide inputs for technical risk planning with a module perspective to ensure delivery of project on time.
• Prepare a detailed schedule for a work packet by carefully analyzing the effort and dependencies (internal and external) and provide inputs to the overall project schedule to ensure on-time delivery of the project.
• Lead the team for integration/system/performance testing based on integration and system test plans and support UAT to ensure defect-free program/modules/system/infrastructure release.
• Participate in KT sessions, prepare and review system appreciation documents, understand application/system/infrastructure dependencies, perform shadow support to complete transition.
• Review the production issue analysis and fixes, interface with customers to clarify issues to ensure issue fixes in a timely manner and with minimal production impact (adherence to SLA).
• Extract business logic from legacy Mainframe applications written in Microfocus COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IDMS.
• Participate in discussions with the client for issue resolution, providing status updates on specific stages of the project, and handle team and client interfacing for reviews of all complexities.
• Conduct impact analysis and suggest/implement workarounds.
• Interface with internal teams, spread globally, to undertake onsite-specific activities of the project.
• Create program specifications documents, unit and integration test plans, and implementation plans for software programs.
• Participate efficiently in the Development, Testing, and Implementation phases of the project.
• Implement, develop, validate, and production support activities in line with design and architecture requirements.
• Create user documentation for programs, in line with the understanding of requirements.
• Participate in knowledge management activities, interface with client and internal teams.
• Implement relevant SDLC activities as required in development, maintenance, reengineering, and other types of software projects.
• Create and review relevant artifacts (Test Scripts, Documentation, Automation, Setups).
• Perform validation activities (Functional, Integration, System, User experience based) and identify and validate defects found (including those identified during User Acceptance Testing).
• Perform root-cause analysis of any issues that arise post-implementation and work on solutions related to issue fixing.
• Participate in system functional design review to evaluate that it meets business requirements.
• Participate in functional solution review sessions.
• Assist in the preparation for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios/scripts.
• Perform SIT activities.
• Support UAT activities.
• Expertise in 3PL and Supply chain domain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant experience in client handling.
• Strong domain knowledge in Logistics business.
• Experience: 7-10 years.

Skill Requirement:

• Techno-functional role with deep expertise in 3PL domain and technology expertise in Microfocus COBOL, CICS, DB2, Endevor, Abend-aid, CA7, Microsoft Azure (Version controller).
