Job Description

  1. Responsible for period and account closing activities, ensuring timely submission of accurate financial reports and preparation of management of the business management.
  2. Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis on outlet performance, Company Level P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  3. Maintain accurate and complete records for all capital expenditure to ensure tax allowances are maximized.
  4. Analyze and review inventory levels at the outlets and warehouse.
  5. Ensure internal controls, policies, and procedures are followed and financial reports are maintained in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards.
  6. Assist in the preparations of annual, budgeted, and periodic forecast exercises.
  7. Liaise with the tax agent, auditor, and other regulatory bodies, including preparation of relevant schedules and supporting documentation.
  8. Review and update task level descriptions and financial process manuals as and when there are changes to manage knowledge retention and to support/back up finance operation team members when required.
  9. Assist and support the training and development of team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and manage the team performance.
  10. Knowledge in F&B line is an advantage.
  11. Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Oversee group-wide consolidation accounting, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with applicable reporting standards.
  12. Transfer Pricing Management: Develop and implement transfer pricing strategies within the group, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing intercompany transactions.

SKILLS

To be an effective Finance Manager, an individual must be:

  1. Able to handle a full set of accounts with strong & proven analytical skills.
  2. Possess a Professional Accountancy Qualification e.g: CPA/ACCA/CFA/CIMA or equivalent.
  3. Strong Accounting and up-to-date knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
  4. Knowledge of Companies Act and relevant tax laws e.g Corporate & Income Tax and SST.
  5. Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Office, Banking, F&B, and Development.
  6. Good with numbers.
