Responsibilities- Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain an organized repository of all contracts, monitor key milestones, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and conditions, proposing strategies to mitigate such risks.
- Work closely with internal teams (legal, finance, procurement, etc.) to ensure contracts meet business needs and comply with regulations.
- Manage the process for contract renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken.
- Work with the HOD to develop and implement an annual audit plan for purchasing activities and vendor compliance.
- Perform detailed audits of purchasing activities, vendor contracts, and compliance processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Prepare and present audit reports highlighting findings, compliance status, and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audit findings and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Ensure all contracts and purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on contract management and compliance requirements.
- Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations, updating company policies and practices as necessary.
- Assess and make recommendations to approve new vendors, ensuring they meet the company's standards and requirements.
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors, addressing and resolving any issues or disputes in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities to streamline contract management and audit processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures related to contract management, audit processes, and compliance monitoring.
- Provide regular updates to HOD on contract and audit activities, including key metrics and risk assessments.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract management, audit processes, and vendor management.
