Data Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a data center, ensuring its efficiency, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including:
    • Servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
    • Cooling, power distribution (UPS, generators), and fire suppression.
    • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
    • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG).
    • Understanding of cloud computing and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
    • Ability to handle disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree (MBA, MIS, or related) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing teams, vendors, and service providers.
  • Background in server management, networking, and cloud technologies.
