Responsibilities:
  1. Create, update, and maintain project drawings, including shop, schematic, as-built, and technical drawings.
  2. Prepare architectural working drawings, including detailed drawings for submission, tender, and construction purposes.
  3. Liaise with engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs.
  4. Attend project meetings to discuss issues and new design ideas.
  5. Address design-related queries and concerns promptly.

Project Support:

  1. Provide assistance in project design and development activities based on customer requirements.
  2. Work with the Person In Charge (PIC) to develop project plans, ensuring budget and schedule adherence.
  3. Propose effective design solutions to meet project goals and recommend improvements to existing designs.

Documentation & Quality Control:

  1. Develop design documentation, technical specifications, and other project-related documents as needed.
  2. Oversee change orders, manage document filing activities, and ensure proper documentation.
  3. Prepare and review rough sketches with the engineering team for accuracy.

Design & Technical Expertise:

  1. Prepare design layouts, sketches, blueprints, and all other necessary drawings according to company standards and customer requirements.
  2. Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.
  3. Stay abreast of the latest developments in design technologies and techniques.

2D & 3D Design:

  1. Create 2D drawings, including layout plans, M&E, and detailed drawings.
  2. Produce 3D designs, renderings, and mood board proposals.

Interior Design Consultation:

  1. Advise clients on interior design factors such as space planning, layout, furnishings, equipment, and color coordination.

Additional Duties:

  1. Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
Requirements and Skills:
  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years and above experience in interior design work.
  3. High standard of technical drawings and budget awareness for project cost.
  4. Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, V-Ray, Photoshop, and familiarity with 3D modeling tools.
  5. Able to communicate in English is a MUST and ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Able to work independently with minimum supervision, and able to complete tasks within the time given.
  8. Willing to work in Taman Mount Austin, Johor Bahru.
  9. Immediate or short notice availability preferable.
