**Position Title**:

- Associate Counsel

**Reports To**:

- Head Group - Legal

**Position Summary**:

- Provide support to the Senior Legal Counsel in providing sound and pragmatic legal advise and consultations pertaining to legal matters/dispute resolutions, risks, legal policies, procedures and compliance to corporate governance in order to protect and mitigate the Group from exposure and liabilities

**Key Accountability**:

- Support the Senior Legal Counsel in reviewing contracts, to ensure legal solutions are sound and reflective of the intended business proposition to ensure the Group is making full use of its contracting.
- Provide legal opinions and advise to Business Units in resolving legal and litigation issues/ matters that may be encountered by the Business Units to protect the legal interest of the Group.
- Support the Senior Legal Counsel in managing litigation files.
- Handle consumer tribunal and passenger complaints cases to ensure the Groups liability (if any) is limited as per applicable law.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- Degree in Law
- 2 years of working in a law firm

**Personality Traits**:

- Strong knowledge of various foreign, local government, state law and regulation as well as aviation law, intellectual property, finance, etc.
- Able to prioritise work effectively.
- Have good interpersonal and analytical skills
