As a Medical Purchasing Assistant, your primary responsibility is to support the procurement process for medical supplies and equipment within a healthcare facility. Your job scope may include the following tasks:

- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and replenished as needed. This involves tracking usage, conducting regular stock checks, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- **Purchase Order Processing**: Assist in creating and processing purchase orders for medical supplies and equipment. This includes verifying pricing, quantities, and specifications, as well as ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- **Supplier Management**: Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and establish strong working relationships. Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and other relevant documentation. Ensure that all procurement activities are properly documented and filed for future reference.
- **Budget Monitoring**: Assist in monitoring and tracking procurement expenses against the allocated budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative suppliers or
- **Research and Evaluation**: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in the medical field. Conduct research and evaluations to identify potential suppliers and products that meet the facility's needs and requirements.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with various departments, such as nursing, administration, and finance, to understand their supply needs and ensure timely procurement. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address any issues or changes in requirements.
- **Compliance and Regulations**: Adhere to relevant regulations, such as healthcare industry standards, safety guidelines, and legal requirements, when procuring medical supplies and equipment. Stay informed about any changes or updates in regulations that may impact procurement processes

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
