Assist daily purchasing operation & price negotiation & sourcing, payment terms & delivery on time to achieve prompt & delivery
- Manage purchases to meet project and customers’ requirements
- Request for quotations from suppliers and ensure timely feedback for pricing comparison.
- Issue purchase order (PO) timely and approval by Chief Executive Officer & forward to suppliers.
- All PO signed on behalf shall seek approval from Chief Executive Officer every Monday of the week
- Arrange and coordinate on urgent purchases / incurrence of expenses
- Coordinate for all machineries rental
- Record & update machinery, tools & equipment at each site and record transfer from site to site
- Follow up closely to ensure timely deliveries for ordered items
- Interact with suppliers to solve delivery or quantity problems
- Inform the respective departments and external vendors to support new project start-up activities
- Do sourcing & always maintain a comprehensive sourcing database
- Counter check / verify invoices against DO & PO prior to submission to account department.
- Update approved supplier list and information
- Prepare purchasing reports (transaction, sales & product) for each project every end of the month to Chief Executive Officer.
- List down and copies to Quantity Surveyor material purchased / rental on behalf of subcontractors before 30th of each month.
- Make sure Delivery Order (DO) from site are despatch to office as soon as possible.
- Any ad hoc duties as assign by the management.
