Purchasing Assistant

**Qualifications & experience**
- A minimum Diploma holder in any discipline. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
- Analytical, resourceful, team player and willing to multi-task.
- Responsible, positive attitude and self-motivated to learn.
- Working experience in hotel environment will be preferred
- Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Work location: Puteri Harbour, Iskandar Puteri.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Assist the Purchasing Manager with the purchasing of all goods and equipment required by the hotel & cafe
- Submits all Internal Requests and other supporting documents for Purchase Order approval according to the Limit of Authority.
- Attends to enquiries from Vendors and Users seeking clarification on Purchase Orders or other queries.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of catalogues, vendors’ records and documents related to purchasing.
- Follow up with the suppliers / vendors on the delivery schedule and expedite where required and arrange for inspection where necessary.
- Conduct matching of Suppliers’ Delivery Orders (DO) and submit the completed Delivery Orders (DO) to Finance department.
- Source for and compare quotations from vendors/contractors for procurement of goods and services for the Company.
- Monitoring stock levels, tracking product movement, assist in stock planning.
**Job Types**: Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
