Our client is a China state-owned company and a subsidiary of a Hong Kong Public listed company. It is a leading **logistics MNC in Selangor** providing Freight Forwarding, Cross-Border, e-Commerce, Custom Brokerage, Project Logistics and Contract Logistics services. They are currently on an expansion trail and is looking for business development people to fill the following positions in Shah Alam, Penang, Johor Bahru and East Malaysia

**1) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Freight Forwarding)**

Salary RM7,000 plus attractive incentive (can earn up to RM10,000+ per month)

2) **BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (Freight Forwarding)**

Salary RM5,000 plus attractive incentive (can earn up to RM10,000+ per month)

**3) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Contract Logistics)**

Salary RM5,000 - RM7,000 with sales commission

4) **BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (Contract Logistics)**

Salary RM3,500 - RM5,000 with sales commission

**JOB SUMMARY**

Accountable for the sales and business activities of the assigned region/product, drive revenue and ensure that profitability goals and other KPIs are met.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Drive sales and business development of its freight forwarding (import/export by air/sea), Cross-Border, e-Commerce, Custom Brokerage, Project Logistics, Contract Logistics, etc to meet targeted revenue, profit margin and corporate goals for the assigned region/product.
- Formulate and implement strategies to identify and gain profitable new business opportunities as well as grow existing customers’ business.
- Lead, manage and drive the sales/BD team to improve revenue, profitability performance and provide superior service in achieving exceptional outcomes.
- Research targeted markets and incoming projects, monitor competition and take necessary action to secure advantages and business for the company.
- Monitor performance of all suppliers including shipping lines, airlines, vendors and overseas agents to improve performance and delivery.
- Work closely with, and facilitate/coordinate all efforts with Operations, Customer Service and other departments to achieve the desired results for all shipments.
- Submit all required reports (sales, business development activities, profitability, financial results, etc) to management.
- Attend Monthly Management Meeting at HQ.
- Any other job as assigned from time to time.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 5 years (Manager) or 2-3 years (Executive) in sales/business development. Proven sales/business development track record in logistics industry
- Familiar with logistics operations with good contacts and network with key decision makers.
- Result-oriented, outgoing and ‘hunter-type’ personality, with good social, negotiation and people skills. Resourceful in finding solutions.
- Possess strong language proficiency in **Mandarin,** English and Malay to facilitate effective communication with customers within South East Asia countries.
