**The Role**:
- To assist in policy issuance, claims and payment matters (ability to provide basic supervisory function is an added benefit).
- Create, issue and coordinate various insurance documentation for policy issuance within the department turnaround time.
- To assist in preparation of quotation, endorsement, payment & receipt, policy, etc.
- To provide assistance in general administrative and monitoring duties for the department.
- To assist marketers on any matter related to the business.
- To provide marketing support in relation to admin duties and marketing services when needed.
- To adhere to AMLA provisions and other relevant compliance matters pertaining to GEGM and the Great Eastern Group policies and be vigilant to uphold these in the discharge of my duties.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
- Other responsibilities entailed.
**The Person**:
- Possesses a SPM / Diploma level academic qualification.
- Exposure in managing administrative tasks with at least 1-year experience.
- Has decent computer skills (Microsoft Office and etc.) Exposure in general insurance industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively and able to work as part of a team.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
