**The company**

Our client is a specialist in global container logistics with 40000 employees globally. The company focuses on freight forwarding, contract logistics and port logistics, managing complex supply chains and provides a wealth of innovative value-added services.

**The Sales Manager will be responsible for**:

- Identify potential customers and growth-oriented market segments.
- Actively secure new customers per agreed annual targets, through own and team efforts.
- Develop international trade lanes in collaboration with the company’s offices and overseas agents.
- Proven track record in sales and business development in the Malaysian market.
- Manage sales KPIs, visits, pipelines, and reporting using CRM Tools.
- Oversee Business Development Executives/Managers and sales support in the central region.
- Manage recruitment for business development and sales support in the central region, collaborating with HR and the Sales Director in sourcing and interviews.
- Coordinate with the Sales Director to lead and guide the business development team.
- Conduct onboarding training for business development executive/manager and sales support.
- Design internal sales training programs for existing and new commercial team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma / Degree or higher field.
- 7 - 10 years of relevant working experience.
- Familiar with freight forwarding industry, shipping and 3PL.
- Strong knowledge of local and international freight services and customs.
- Proficient in both English and local language - written and verbal.
- Possess customer service mindset and data analytical approach.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills and good team player.
- Result oriented and resourceful.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM11,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
