Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
- End-to-end VAS Network design and detailed bill-of-quantity (BoQ) derivation. Manage timely and high standard execution against business requirements. Key initiatives - VAS capacity expansions and optimization, VAS Core functions virtualization and 5G VAS rollout, etc.
- Network capacity management. Manage and ensure healthy network utilization to support growth for all lines of business. Timely core network build and expansion to ensure no network congestion and no interruption to customers and services offered throughout the year
- Solutions and network architecture to meet business unit’s requirements on new products and services relevant to VAS & Voice centric services. This includes technical & commercial analysis, system capability assessment, Go-to-Market’s plans & customer journey assessment.
- Ensure good network quality to support business growth and good customer experience via routine network performance assessment and optimization - network availability, network latency, success rates, etc. Maintain zero service interruption and negative revenue & customer experience incidents due to planned network build/upgrade events.
- Support network operation in complex network fault troubleshooting and resolution.
- Drive process and network efficiency enhancement. Adopt technologies to enhance network efficiency and workflow automation.
- External parties and regulatory liaison - Vendors management, other licensed operators (OLO), Telco forum & SKMM liaison.
- Personal Development. To improve in existing skillset.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in related disciplines - telecommunication, data communication, electrical & electronics
- Work Experience: 3-5 years relevant experience is Voice Core design.
- Good technical knowledge and experience in VAS Core network planning and design.
- Experience in NFV deployment would be added advantage.
- Good IP interworking knowledge
