Finance Executive

You will be reporting to the Company’s Directors, and the Finance Manager. Additionally, you will be in continuous communication with our business process outsourcing (BPO) clients, ensuring their financial process requirements are met timely and accurately.
Your **objective** will be to ensure financial operations and service deliveries of both internal business projects and BPO financial projects for our clients, including MahWengKwai & Associates Advocates & Solicitors, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. You should visualise and actively communicate to all team members the company's standards throughout each service deliveries and tasks execution.
Your **key responsibilities** include:
- Revenue and collection
- Preparing the daily sales invoice on timely manner;
- Maintaining customer master data in accounting system;
- Following up with internal and external clients for the prompt payment of fees and funds on account;
- Assisting internal stakeholders to achieve firm, team and individual collection targets;
- Financial and management reporting
- Preparing the monthly journal posting, balance sheet account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations;
- Preparing the monthly and weekly management reports, yearly financial reporting and submission of the annual financial report; closing books in a timely manner;
- Assisting with the preparation for annual audits on financial statements, and corporate tax filing;
- Preparing data analysis for large volume of data to enhance financial reporting accuracy, identify trends, and contribute valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Projects
- Assist in projects supporting initiatives such as system integration, system migration, and continuous improvement projects within the accounting and financial operations.
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the finance team including credit control, client accounts management, and treasury management;
- Liaising with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and relevant parties for statutory and legislative requirements;
- Practising effective physical and digital file management; keeping organised and up to date all hardcopy and softcopy files, documents and records;
- Assisting to implement all digitalisation exercises and process automation activities in finance digital transformation; and
- Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.
