Cementing Coordinator

**Job Description & Responsibilities**:
**_(A) _**_ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY_**
- Being the liaison with CLIENT on daily Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) issues.
- Attend daily operational meetings at CLIENT’s office (as required by Client).
- Being the “primary liaison” for any communication between CLIENT, other service providers, and COSL’s rig site cementing personnel.
- Maintaining a current copy of the CONTRACT and ensuring the COSL complies with all requirements of the CONTRACT. Providing regular update on 'expenditure to date' for the CONTRACT to the CLIENT Representative.
- Meeting with CLIENT’s technical and/or project team to discuss current technical requirement and planning for upcoming operations.
- Participating in DWOP/Kick-off meetings/safety meetings and other CLIENT meetings as required, and feedback meeting information to Operation Manager and Technical Manager timely.
- Providing technical programs and cost estimates pre-spud - including COSL cement job simulations and preliminary testing of slurries recommended.
- Keeping abreast of CLIENT operations and anticipate/initiate cementing testing required at the appropriate times.
- Coordination of all activities - required services, engineering, equipment, materials, products, testing, transportation and all aspects of cementing services.
- Ensuring all service aspects stipulated in the CONTRACT are upheld. This will include monitoring and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coordinating the design of all cement slurries, etc.
- Monitoring the daily activities performed by COSL's personnel and verifying all required data and/or test report submittals are being provided.
- Ensuring laboratory results have been sent in timely manner to CLIENT as required.
- Coordinating and directing the design and testing of all cement slurries to ensure proper design of the cement systems/slurries that will best meet the specific requirements of the job based on the requirements of the well.
- Ensuring cementing operations are performed in accordance with CLIENT’s requirement, Standard Operation Procedure, HSE policy and QA/QC requirements.
- Ensuring prompt complete and submit End-of-Job Report within 24hrs after each end of job, and complete and submit End-of-Well-Report (EOWR) within 15days after each end of well.
- Ensuring CLIENT / COSL agreed recommendations for process improvements are implemented prior to the next similar operation.
- Actively pursuing all opportunities for continuous improvement in the overall performance of the Services provided.
- Visiting to CLIENT Work Site(s) periodically to monitor cementing operations.
- Communicate with Client’s representative(s) to get the well plan / drilling program.
- Prepare preliminary cementing program (BOD).
- Coordinate with Cementer on rig site to return samples of cement, additives and water to onshore Laboratory.
- Issue the “Slurry Test Assignment” to Laboratory to test the slurries to be used for cementing job - Ensure the Laboratory Technician fully understanding the test requirements, and the Batch No. of chemicals providing to Laboratory are same and correct as chemicals on the rig site.
- Check the laboratory test results and send in timely manner to Client after reviewing and approval of CMT Technical Manager. Ensure the laboratory tests are performed with location samples of cement, additives and water. Ensure all the laboratory tests are performed according to API Standard, COSL’s SOP and any other special requirements from Client.
- Check the cement type on rig site is correct and the stock is available for this cementing job. Check the Batch Number of each chemical to be used for dedicated cementing job on rig site are same with the B/N in Lab Test Report.
- Check equipment, tools and additives on rig site for availability. Coordinate supplementary equipment or tools or materials in timely manner to ensuring fully meet with cementing requirements according to the progress of well operations in the event of equipment or tools or materials on rig site cannot meet the job requirements.
- Ensure the equipment and tools are Checked and inspected sufficiently and correctly prior to the cementing job.
- Prepare and finalize the Cementing Program with approval of CMT Technical Manager and Client’s representatives.
- Release the Approved Cementing Program to Cementer and Helper and ensure that all field personnel are informed of cement design and pumping requirements.
- Monitor, collect and check all Service Tickets from offshore crew. Make and submit sales report of each project to CMT/Pumping Manager before 25th of each month.
- Follow invoicing procedure to Client and OCSB.
- Be responsible for all operation and technical documents filing.
