**Overall Purpose of the Job**:
To maximise sales revenue and profitability within area of responsibility. Effective analysis of the marketplace to gain knowledge of client and competitor information. Develop a sales plan for area of responsibility and when approved deliver to team to achieve maximum success at the tender stage. To ensure response in a timely manner to all ITT’s received for area of responsibility. Ensure total compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

**Key Activities and Accountabilities**:

- Develop strategy, tactics, sales plan and profit targets for area of responsibility.
- Disseminate to sales team the sales plan with their targets and objectives and give guidance and mentoring if required to enable achievement of targets.
- Ensure active contact with existing and new clients is being undertaken and feedback given to allow review of status of contracts or potential growth.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to develop future growth.
- Perform or coordinate presentations and seminars to clients to enhance customer understanding and develop relationships.
- Provide input to all key tender documents and information on pricing and response strategy.
- Maintain understanding of technology developments within the industry and disseminate the information to clients and internal parties.
- Compile accurate market share statistics and ensure Salesforce is updated and also prepare any reports such as sales activity as per schedule.
- Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all information is circulated as appropriate also client questions and queries are resolved in a timely manner. Liaise with manager on any issues or concerns.

**Job Knowledge and Qualifications**:

- In-Depth knowledge on Tubular Running Services (TRS) operation on DW, Land Operations, Jack-Up, Semi-Submersible and Land Drilling Rig.
- Understanding of mechanised equipment such as Power Tong Positioning Systems, Mechanical Stabbing and Casing Running Products and Services.
- Basic knowledge in Conductor Installation and Hammering Services.
- Understanding on Torque Turn Systems
- Basic Knowledge of Cement Systems including Cement Head, Downhole Tools, and Cement Accessories
- Basic Knowledge of Drilling Technologies
- Market understanding focussed on rig movements and forecasting of rig operations.
- Experience with ERP / CRM Systems
- Strong background in building and maintaining Customer Relationships
- Experienced in Customer ITT, Commercial RFP, Technical Proposal
- Hold a Professional Qualification preferably in a technical area.
- 10+ years’ work experience within Technical or Sales role preferably in line with a company product line.
- Proficient in MS Word, Data Bases, and PowerPoint.
