**Description**:
This job contributes to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's success by assisting the Learning & Development Manager in designing and delivering hands-on training and educational programs that can help to improve the employees' knowledge and skills so that they are able to create and maintain the best specialty coffee and tea and customer service. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the Field Trainer to help the employees to reach their fullest potential by assessing individual employee needs, providing guidance and development opportunities, motivating and counsel, and fulfilling any other duties assigned by the Learning & Development Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Business Requirements**_
- Maintain a level of knowledge regarding products, business processes and systems and has a thorough understanding of training programs and operational metrics.
- Organize and prepare training facilities, training materials and equipment, including online training modules.
- Keep track of the training records.
- Maintain training equipment and supplies in safe and sound working conditions.
- Perform Total Quality Experience (TQE) assessment and Customer Service Observation in cafes.
- Assess products' SOP knowledge for new opening team members, trainees, operations district managers, assistant district managers, etc.
- Track the learning progress of the trainees during the training period.
- Generate reports for all tasks perform in outlets to ensure everything is well-documented.
- **Employee Development**_
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs for all employees.
- Organize, conduct and coordinate classroom training to improve employees' product knowledge, customer service knowledge and any other important skills.
- **Planning and Execution**_
- Collaborate across departments to identify relevant training needs.
- Plan and schedule training on a regular basis.
- Develop creative and innovative approaches to present training programs.
- **Supporting other HR Functions**_
- Assist in any mass recruitment organized by the HQ but not limited to screening, interviewing, and preparing all the necessary documents throughout the event.
**Requirements**:
- **Qualification & Experience**_
- A recognized degree in Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business. Administration; OR Minimum 2 years experience in F&B management: OR related major 2 years experience in the Human Resources or related professional area certified trainer.
- Experience in adult education, L&D, training, coaching and/or public speaking would be an added advantage.
- **Skills**_
- Strong operational skills in a customer service environment.
- Leadership and presentation skills with the ability to mentor and coach the Brew Crews.
- A team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Has the ability to solve problems and identify opportunities for training through analytical and critical thinking.
- Ability to perform duties and handle projects with aggressive timelines.
- Articulate and able to communicate effectively across all functions and levels.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
