**LoVita Tanjung Bidara Beach Resorts, Melaka.**
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for all culinary dishes that are prepared in the kitchen;
- Responsible for keeping organized so that meals go out on time and the work area remains clean;
- Responsible on daily goods order from suppliers, monthly inventory;
- Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes and personal judgement;
- Regulating the temperature of ovens, grills, roasters, and other cooking equipment;
- Inspecting and cleaning the kitchen, kitchen equipment and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices;
- Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as combi oven, grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles;
- A person must be very organized and comfortable working in the kitchen for hours;
- Primary role is to oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in the café;
- Maintain kitchen hygiene standards;
- Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met;
- Ensure that production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality of all time;
- Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation;
**Qualifications & Requirements: -**
- At least 1 years of kitchen or culinary experience.
- Fresh grads are welcomed
- Has experience with handling of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Have good culinary skills.
- Positive work attitude, resourceful, dedicated and ability to forge good team spirit and able to work independently.
- Team player with pleasant personality, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
