Intel's recently announced IDM 2.0 strategy includes a plan to significantly expand the manufacturing network, establishing new capacity and capability to meet the accelerating global demand for semiconductors.

The Disaggregation Manufacturing Organization (DMO) will play an important role in this strategy, leveraging Intel's Advanced Packaging technology portfolio to deliver leadership products. To enable this ramp, DMO is building an Advanced Packaging manufacturing facility in Malaysia, increasing its investment in this region which has been a critical part of Intel's supply chain for nearly five decades.

This role owns executing tactical and strategic installation and qualification of new capacity to achieve factory ramps. The EPCOT manager owns cross organization projects. This includes tool install strategy and planning, ensuring smooth tool install coordination activities and project management to meet committed milestones, thus contributing to Intel's revenue. The role requires coordination of multi-disciplinary stake holders across the organization.

The EPCOT Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Tactically, this role requires integrating the capabilities of the site construction, installation, and qualification to deliver new capacity equipment systems in a high quality and safe manner and on time for the successful capacity ramp of the factory.
- This role requires a highly integrated knowledge of advanced packaging operations, engineering, capacity assessment, corporate services, construction and tool install integration to make tactical and strategic decisions for the factory as a whole.
- To maintain a high degree of alignment on these decisions, this role will need to develop a high level of influence and leadership with his/her Department Manager peers, factory and support organizations (FCE, CS, GSC, and TMG SP) and factory management, both within Penang and across the VF.
- Demonstrate competence in project management, engineering, industrial engineering, operations, corporate services, construction, safety, organizational development and people management.
- Demonstrate capability to utilize experts from multiple technical and business fields to synthesize complex and robust solutions in a HVM environment.
- Demonstrate understanding of factory operations/disciplines and the ability to integrate them.

**Qualifications**
- 15+ years of Process Engineering, Manufacturing experience or other related engineering functional areas in 300mm semiconductor manufacturing

Experience in:

- Technology transfer and ramp with emphasis on process tool installation and qualification.
- Factory engineering and manufacturing experience
- Construction and Corporate Services.
- Model based problem solving.
- Project Management.
- Preferred qualifications:

- Working relationship with FCE, TMG SP, and Corporate Services.
- An engineering degree and prior technology transfer and startup experience.
- Demonstrated Leadership and Management of technical teams.
- Demonstrated results and accountability for leadership and role modelling of Intel's cultural attributes
- Verbal and written communication skills with a high tolerance to ambiguous and changing situations.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer orientation.
- Skills to work in an environment with new and frequently changing challenges.
- Skills to work across organizational boundaries including process engineering, construction and corporate services.
