Administrative Coordinator

The Penang Institute seeks an Administrative Coordinator to assist the Management in the daily operations of the institute. As a point of contact for all employees, you will provide administrative support and manage their queries, as well as handle general/public enquiries.
Key Responsibilities- To coordinate and organize events including technical support, logistics, and facilities arrangement;
- To liaise with vendors and suppliers;
- To provide technical support to employees;
- To monitor the rental of the institute's hall and other facilities, provide tenant support, and maintain records;
- To support front office management including greeting guests, receiving mail and packages, answering calls, scheduling meetings, and coordinating office activities;
- To assist in data collection and/or entry for research projects.
- A minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline with relevant working experience;
- Good communication skills in English;
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is an advantage;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when required;
- Proactive handling of arising issues and troubleshooting of emerging problems;
- Proficiency in event software;
- Based in Penang.
