The role involves developing, implementing, and automating regular strategic, operational, and regulatory reporting. This includes utilizing techniques such as data analytics, market research, trend analysis, and financial analysis, as well as building a data repository of internal and external datasets to automate key strategic KPIs, dashboard, and regulatory reporting. Additionally, the position supports the Head of Analytics and Reporting in strategic analysis, marketing research, presentations, and reports to management and the Board. Streamlining data gathering efforts for government and board reports, as well as contributing to strategic projects and reviews, are also part of the responsibilities.

**Job Requirement: -**
- Higher level degree (**Master’s or above**) in business, data science, or analytics.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Hands-on experience in ETL process from data source to target database in an on-site ODS data warehouse setup.
- Proven ability to design, create, and manage databases.
- Conduct data transformation work, including filtering, cleaning, standardization, validation, and more.
- Enhance data quality and reliability by deriving new meaningful features for analysis and modeling.
- Excellent programming skills in SQL, Python, and R, with mastery in other languages as a bonus.
- Knowledge of managing connectivity and credentials between databases and data visualization tools, as well as scheduling and managing updates for automated reports.
- Build, manage, and automate dashboards, preferably using Power BI and mastery in Power BI DAX.
- Strong data visualization skills and the ability to create a clear narrative through visualizations.
- Knowledge of statistical methods using tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, Python, etc.
- Web scraping skills to extract and process data from websites for storage in the data mart.
- Proven analytics and reporting experience in a complex organization.
- Knowledge of designing and managing SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably on Microsoft Azure for future cloud migration.
- Ability to perform qualitative market research when required.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive in delivering assigned tasks or projects.
- Effective liaison with management and external stakeholders.
- Experience in presenting findings to Senior Management.

**Job Descriptions: -**
- The role requires the successful completion of the following tasks to establish the central data repository for the Strategic Analytics and Reporting unit:

- Collaborate closely with the IT department to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Operational Data Store (ODS) server.
- Work with IT and data owners to ensure the correct implementation of ETL processes and dataflow.
- Create and maintain a data dictionary or metadata repository.
- Transport data from ODS to the Data Warehouse or data mart.
- Provide advice and consultation on ODS and data warehouse management, including storage capacity sizing and backup.
- Integrate various data sources into the data mart.
- Scrape data from external sources and load it into the data mart.
- Load and maintain relevant flat files received from regulatory or vendors.
- Automate data updates in the data mart at regular intervals.
- Constantly check the quality of data in the data mart.
- Work with IT to conduct the migration of the local data warehouse to the cloud in the future.
- Ensure business continuity during the migration process.
- Develop and deliver regular Management, Governance and Regulatory reporting.
- Gather requirements from management for critical and important measures to be reported in Power BI dashboards.
- Propose a suitable dashboard design and design the dataset structure accordingly.
- Integrate required data by performing table joining and data massaging (cleansing, aggregation, deriving relevant variables).
- Ensure data owners verify the correctness of data fed into the dashboard, if not originating from Strategic Analytics & Reporting data mart.
- Connect and load prepared tables or datasets to Power BI correctly.
- Build and test requested dashboards for functionality and data visualization correctness.
- Publish and manage dashboard accessibility for the appropriate parties.
- Automate scheduling of dashboard refresh and regular report dissemination.
