**Job Description and Qualifications**

**Purpose**

This position is responsible to manage and supervise the Bank Accounting Team within the scope of the Finance Organization to ensure the integrity of the Local and US GAAP balance sheets by maintaining the full reconciliation of Banking owned accounts.

**Nature and Scope**

The job holder needs to be responsible for bank transactions of +100 Asia legal entities and +400 bank accounts in Asia countries, including Korea, China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan. Lead a Bank Reconciliation team with 4 direct report.

This position reports to Director, Global Accounting Center of Excellence. This position is responsible for reconciliation bank transactions of +100 Asia legal entities and +400 bank accounts in Asia countries, including Korea, China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan and fulfill the audit and SOX control requirements. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES_**

Provide leadership to the Air Products Bank Accounting team to perform bank accounting and reconciliation, bank master data set up cross the region to ensure compliance with APCI policy and procedure. Reviewing cash balances during each month-end close to ensure cash is not materially missed on the balance sheet. Lend technical support to the team member. Liaising cross functionally to make all necessary SAP configuration changes related to bank accounting (i.e. for opening/closing of bank accounts, new transactions, etc.) Identify the opportunities to improve process to be more standardize and simplify for more effective and efficiency. Establish product delivery and staff productivity measurement tools and metrics. Improve efficiency/effectiveness of reconciliation through the identification, prioritization, planning, and execution of process improvement projects. Act as global process owner to monitor Banking team related activities and KPIs, convergence regional banking team best practices, establish and update the job aids and control documentations, approve for new accounts and IT related configurations. Any other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS_**

The incumbent is expected to have Bachelor Degree in Accounting or finance. Obtaining qualified accountant profession will be a plus. Job incumbent is expected to have over 5 years working experiences in MNC or audit firm (preferability 1-2 years similar working exposure), with more than 2 years in people/ team management role. SAP systems will be a plus. The incumbent needs to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, humble to learn and desire to coach, customer focus, change management and strategy mindset, and a proven ability to effectively solve the problems in the daily operation. Good leadership skill to assign tasks, manage, motivate and develop the team members. Be able to handle and prioritize important/urgent situations, can work under pressure. Languages requirement: fluent in English - both oral and written, and professional in Chinese language—speak, read and write in Chinese is a plus. Job incumbent should be well verse with IT skill and automation mindset.
