The Content Moderator will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of online platforms by reviewing, moderating, and monitoring user-generated content. The role involves upholding community guidelines, filtering out inappropriate content, and ensuring a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Content Review and Moderation**:

- Review user-generated content (text, images, videos) to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
- Identify and flag inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content.
- Approve or reject content based on predefined guidelines and policies.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain high-quality standards in moderation processes.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve content policies and moderation techniques.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Document and report policy violations and trends in content.
- Generate regular reports on moderation activities and outcomes.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with legal, security, and product teams on complex moderation issues.
- **User Support**:

- Respond to user inquiries and issues regarding content moderation.
- Educate users on platform policies and community standards.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online community guidelines.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to make quick and informed decisions.
- Proficient in using content management and moderation tools.
- High tolerance for repetitive tasks and exposure to potentially distressing content.
