EXECUTIVE, COMPUTING (SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR)

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible to plan, implement, coordinate and administer of IT technology infrastructure including hardware, software, servers, storage, data centre and other components to enable delivery of innovative, responsive, cost effective and workable solutions to the business in an optimal, timely manner, meet the business and service level objective of providing scalable, available, performing, and supportable IT service.

**Accountabilities**:
**1. Ensure the efficient of the on premise servers and cloud-based infrastructure including the hardware and operating system of all production and development environments.**
- Assistance with project monitoring, analytical support, and compliance as needed. track and ensure adequate and timely resolutions to all audit/review issues relating to IT infrastructure services
- Assesses whether the proposed Information Technology architecture component meet reliability, performance and maintainability requirements; modify and refine the component as needed

**3. Perform regular backup operation monitoring and implement appropriate process for data protection, disaster recovery plan and drill procedures**
- Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources. Collaborates with Project Managers and technical directors to provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plan, and serve as a lead as required, to implement the installation, customization, and integration efforts.

**4. Undertake the routine monitoring of the performance of the server infrastructure components for trouble-shooting, pre-emptive problem identification and capacity planning purposes.**
- Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimize disruption to successful service delivery.

**5. Serve as a technical resources on various IT infrastructure projects including on the technical design, implementation, service transition and service improvement.**
- Establish, maintain and foster positive and effective working relationship with co-workers and all others contacted in the performance of assigned duties.

**6. Provide support for changes, performance tuning, resource optimization including other compliance policies and documentation.**

**7. Liaising with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the organization is getting the best value for money and service level agreements are met.**

- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related is required for this position.

**3. Specific Knowledge**:

- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMware or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange administration
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration
- Knowledge of configuring and maintaining hybrid environments, including integration with on premise and cloud-based services

**4. Skills**:

- Technical skills with cloud computing, virtualization, networking and emerging technologies
- Identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop long-terms plan
- Commit to continuous improvement for efficiency, effectiveness and reliability

**5. Personal Attributes**:

- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong technical documentation skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
