Job Purpose

To execute maintain activities for Machinery and Utility:

- Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of sewage: monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate flow of sewage.
- Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge reading and tests result to determine load requirements.
- Daily operate and clean filter press, remove sludge, DAF tank and aeration tank.
- Daily operate and maintain bacteria active in good condition
- Daily record all parameter as per request from DOE requirement.
- Daily record and operate maintain chemical usage and chemical pump condition
- Start and stops pumps, motor and blower to control flow of raw sewage through filtering, settling, aeration, and sludge digestion process.
- Maintains log of operations and records meter and gauge readings.
- Gives directions to wastewater-treatment plant attendants and sewage-disposal work in performing routine operations and maintenance.
- May collect sewage sample, using dipper or bottle and conduct laboratory tests, using testing equipment, such as ph meter, cod meter, colorimeter and etc.
- Ensure all equipment are working well such a pump, blower, typhoon pump, pipe and all lab equipment under good performance.
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skill, more involve in hand on experience and undergone internal / external training.
- To conduct Preventive maintenance schedule for waste water treatment operation activity and DOE weekly lab test report activity.
- Utilities equipment such as air compressor, air-condition, chillers, cooling tower, boiler, waste water treatment plan, refrigeration, overhead crane, air-dryer.
- Facilities and such as electrical, firefighting, water supply, sanitary system, lift and furniture like roller shutter, door, window, gate, ceiling & etc.
- To perform general repairing jobs in factory compound.

Job requirements
- Minimum education level until diploma any related cert
- 2-3 years and above experiences in waste water treatment plant.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From RM1,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:
