Junior Legal Officer

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct thorough legal research on various matters including corporate, labor, contract, and property law.
- Analyze legal documents and precedents to support the legal team in case preparation and strategy formulation.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure they are legally sound and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and appeals.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and advise the legal team on potential impacts.
- Assist in ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and management of legal cases, including gathering evidence, preparing case files, and liaising with relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal files and documents.
- Liaise with internal departments, clients, and external counsel to gather information and provide legal assistance as needed.
- Respond to legal inquiries and provide support to ensure timely and effective resolution of legal issues.
- Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating correspondence.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the legal library, ensuring all resources are up-to-date and accessible.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Management.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in a legal environment, such as a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work on rest / off days if required.
