**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for Penang Hub including achieve sales and margin target, replenishment plans, warehouse and transport. As a key manager of the company, the AM-SO also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, process, and best practices.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:
1. Set sales team procedures and strategy
- Formulates strategies and action plans to achieve sales and margin objectives for the sales team.
- Identifies new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Determines and assigns sales quotas, targets and/or goals.
- Analyses sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps.
- Prepares & follows up products launches in order to guarantee quick market penetration
- Collaborates with marketing manager to develop events and promotion plans and the suppliers for visits and product demo to optimize their effect on sales and customer satisfaction.
- Makes sure sales tools (catalogue, newsletter, CRM, etc.) are updated and available to the sales team at all time.
- Gathers and shares market information and competitor’s activities

2. Warehouse management
- Advises and implements organizational procedures and process in order to improve or optimize:

- stock management and inventory management
- replenishment plans
- Warehouse organization and ensure in compliance with Metro’s policies.
- Anticipates space, equipment, and resource needs against company growth and strategy. Functional lead on warehouse expansion and relocation projects.

3. Transport Management
- Advises and implements organizational procedures and process in order to improve or optimize:

- delivery
- routing and planning
- truck fleet and 3rd parties’ management
- Anticipates future equipment and resource needs against company growth and strategy

4. Team Management
- Recruits, trains and develops an efficient and effective team with the best service level and quality deliverables for customers
- Monitors adherence to house rules, policies and procedures

5. Key Manager of the company
- Ensures SOPs are available, updated and properly communicated and followed by the operations department
- Facilitates coordination and communication between all departments and ensures all information has been well transmitted and understood by everyone.
- Develops strategic plans with the Manager.
- Representation of the company’s image

6. Health & Safety - Commitment to Safety:

- Report all accidents incidents and near misses to your line manager in a timely manner.
- Cooperate with all instructions provided by the company in relation to all matters relating to Health and Safety.
- Do not place yourself or others at risk of an accident or Ill health.
- Always report any concerns regarding health and safety matters to your line manager immediately

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/university degree holders in Business, Marketing or Operations
- Min 3 years similar experience in food service distribution or F&B industry.
- Experience managing a branch is required in this role.
- Ability to clearly communicate and convey messages, internally and externally.
- Analytical and data-driven with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Language required: English and Mandarin.
