To work closely with the Manager and Group Head, to ensure smooth operations of the Group Human Empowerment & Development Department
**Payroll Processing**
- Execute end-to-end payroll processes, including data collection, verification, calculation of salaries, benefits, allowances, and deductions.
- Collaborate with Finance department to ensure accurate staff information and compliance with company policies.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor codes to ensure accurate payroll processing and PCB (income tax).
- Prepare and submit payroll-related tax reports as required by relevant authorities.
**Data Management**
- Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive staff information.
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies in payroll data and resolve any issues that arise.
**Benefits Administration**
- Manage employee benefits related to payroll, such as health insurance, PRS, and leave accruals.
- Assist employees with inquiries related to their payroll and benefits.
**System Maintenance**
- Utilize payroll software to process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with IT or software vendors to address any technical issues and ensure system functionality.
**Reporting and Analytics**
- Generate payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax summaries, and labor cost analysis for management review.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data analysis.
**Auditing and Reconciliation**
- Conduct periodic audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile payroll data with financial records and resolve any discrepancies.
**Off boarding process**
- To perform exit interview and clearance of resigning staff to ensure smooth exit from the Company.
- To continuous updating the filing system and ensure filing of resigned staff is fully updated.
**Continuous Improvement**
- Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes, reduce errors, and improve overall efficiency.
- Propose and implement process improvements to streamline payroll operations.
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HRM, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Executive or similar role, preferably in the higher education industry would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive attitude.
