**PROCUREMENT & TENDER EXECUTIVE**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Tender administration including pre and post tender administration.
- To review on tender documents and prepare the most competitive bid.
- To prepare costing, vendor selection, technical & commercial clarifications.
- To review quotations submitted by Sub-contractors.
- To liaise with consultants/site to clarify queries.
- To onward follow up with the client & consultant on the status after the tender submission.
- To negotiate best pricing, monitors and assures continuous improvement of supplier performance by conducting periodic supplier evaluations
- To source of suppliers with product qualities while maintaining good cost control
- To source materials, plants, machinery & equipment for both tendering and project execution stages.
- To compile and prepare price comparison of construction materials.
- To prepare monthly materials expense report and keep contract files for future
- To maintain proper, accurate and updated records on procurement documents at all times to ease the tracking process whenever required.
- To prepares progress payment claim, variation orders claim and taking off quantities.
- To ensure that work done is claimed up-to date, V/O submitted timely and profitably, settle final account.
- Post-contract administration which included: Attending management meeting, client/consultant and site meeting, Cost comparison exercise, Variation order claim, Site inspection when necessary.
- To ensure that Sub-contractor work done is paid timely but not overpaid.
- To coordinate pre-contract drawings and documents with all consultants.
- To evaluate and prepares interim progress payment to Sub-contractors.
- To prepare progress report, materials schedule and cash flow.
- To update cash flow and monitor project budget and payment to Sub-contractor.
- To develop and maintain the lists of Approved Suppliers and Sub-contractors.
- To request and obtain quotations on construction materials from potential suppliers.
- To prepare and evaluate the bid price and quality on materials among the potential suppliers.
- To gather information on construction materials from suppliers.
- To request and obtain quotations on new construction materials from potential new suppliers.
- To prepare and evaluate the bid price and quality on materials among the potential suppliers through verbal confirmation.
- To liaise with suppliers for costing exercise, collect cost data and cost information.
- To prepare, issue and check the Purchase Orders to the approved suppliers.
- To gather information on construction materials from suppliers.
- To coordinate with the supplier for the arrangement of the construction materials delivery to the site.
- To undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the Contract Manager.
**REQUIREMENT**
- Required skill(s): MS Office (Excel), etc.
- Required language: Malay, English
- At least 1-3 Years of relevant working experience in related field.
- Able to work independently under minimum supervision, resourceful, organized and attention to details.
- Able to work under pressure to achieve datelines.
- Able to travel in the Malaysian Peninsula and East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak).
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
