**About Role**
As an **Accounts Receivable Associate** in our new** APAC Global Business Services Centre (GBS)**, you will have the opportunity to play a role in defining and supporting our future as well as being part of a new and exciting team. Partnering with our local/regional teams you will manage full cash allocation to reconciliation of GL accounts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately processing customer payments in a timely manner
- Review customer remittances and bank statements to ensure customer payments are applied accurately
- Resolve payment discrepancies and, providing solution to address the root cause
- To investigate any unidentified or unallocated payment receipts, partnering with the collections team to determine the correct posting
- Update daily cash book
- Perform AR month-end/close activities
In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our other GBS teams in Lisbon and Bogota, local finance, sales and marketing.
Our APAC GBS supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
You will be joining a newly formed Global Business Services team, with opportunities to grow, within OTC or wider finance functions.
**About You**
To be successful you will have:
- Minimum 2 years accounts and/or accounts receivable experience
- Understanding of country markets and payment methodology is advantageous
- Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- A proactive approach towards challenges and problem solving able to work autonomously
- Excellent organizational and time management able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities
- A customer-first mindset to fit with our “forever caring” brand
**Language**:
- Good written and spoken English is essential
- A proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Korean and/or Thai as well as other Asian languages will be an advantage
**Qualifications/Education**:
- Accounting or Finance Degree (preferred)
