**Job Details**
- Location: Cyberjaya
- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Working Hour: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
- Salary Offered: Up to RM 5,000

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform and support daily operations of the Hydrocarbon teams in Mass Balancing, Stock Recording and Reconciliation, and Stock Valuation for Singapore Chemicals Business.
- Provide proactively issue resolution to support E2E process and value chain in Hydrocarbon area.
- Deliver assigned activities and drive for operational excellence within the team.
- Ensure that all request are approved, reviewed and updated into system according to agreed timeline.
- Execute and ensure timely completion of all the activities of the Stock Valuation & Margin Segmentation Team including the running of stock valuation programs at month end, which includes FIFO, NRV, CCS, COGS, GINI and GRANI.
- Complete SOAR balance sheet recons and update status on a monthly basis in MOE.
- Capture manual journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with all Global standards and streamline policies (i.e. IFRS standards).
- Identify and understand key components/movements in Inventories GL (e.g. fixed price/ formula price).
- Validate if discrepancies exist, that they are being investigated and resolved on timely basis.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies with figures from storage location, including stock differences outside of tolerance.
- Post any final stock differences within allowed tolerance to the appropriate gain/loss accounts in accordance to the Manual of Authorities (MoA), in compliance with GSAP and SOX 404 guidelines.
- Prepares overview of losses & gains for approval.
- Understand and implement the corresponding financial controls associated with the process to mitigate financial reporting risks.
- Ensure timely storage of evidence on task carried out in Global Records Management System.
- Provide information to direct stakeholders timely, accurately, and professionally.
- Identify and assist in developing solutions for issues identified for operating units in scope of role.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of team’s KPIs.
- Ensure compliance and execution of RDS, Key Controls and Non Key Controls in accordance to company Controls Framework.
- Projects / Assignments Participate (which include delivery of the deliverables within the stipulate timeline, issues escalation and manage expectation gaps) in external and internal rollout/projects / assignments.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Have Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in an Accounting line.
- Be able to speak English with good oral and written communication skills.
- Have good analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as problem-solving skills.
- Have knowledge or experience in SAP will be an added advantage.
- Able to handle large datasets & good stakeholder management skills.
