**YOUR ROLE**

This is a unique opportunity for an aspiring acquisitions individual to experience and develop within a VC-backed startup that aims to become the next consumer goods giant. You will be exposed to e-commerce brands, platforms, and deals, working closely with the Acquisitions team, to support the sourcing, qualification, and acquisition of winning e-commerce brands.
- Conduct analysis to support formulation of acquisition and category strategy for Malaysia.
- Originate and develop pipeline of potential high quality home-grown e-commerce brands.
- Evaluate leads and support due diligence to inform go / no-go investment decisions.
- Assist in the management of deal database and reporting.
- Work across functions and borders within the regional Una Brands team to manage deals end-to-end and develop / improve acquisition processes and strategy.
- Assist in competitor and sector analyses on new opportunities to gain deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape in Asia Pacific.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal / relationship building skills, exuding credibility, maturity, and empathy (English a must, Bahasa Melayu or Mandarin a plus).
- Ability to write clearly and succinctly to facilitate rapid business decision-making.
- Strong ownership, a self-starter that takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity, and is willing to get hands dirty.
- Solid project planning, time management, and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Able to break down complex problems into its component parts and make assumptions where necessary.
- Exercises high quality judgement, and is able to synthesise data and trends to arrive at implications and creative solutions.
- Experience with / passion for e-commerce brands and consumer products a plus.
- Driven to build the next VC-backed unicorn in the region.
