Merchant Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Merchant Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Hong Leong Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new merchants and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit new merchants, specifically key accounts, to expand our customer base.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing merchants to increase revenue and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of merchant acquisition strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in merchant acquiring, sales, or business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
