**19 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force**

Applications are invited from Malaysian citizens for the position of **Workforce Capability Flight (WCF) Housing and Removals Officer** for Headquarters 19 Squadron (19 SQN) with the Royal Australian Air Force at TUDM Butterworth, Penang. This position is graded at a LCC4 level and holds a starting salary of RM6511 per month.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a register of all properties leased by the Commonwealth of Australia as well as posting in and out register for Australian Defence Force.
- Raise relevant documentation for housing including Letter of Intent, Business Case, Tenancy Agreement, Stamp Duty, lease extension, lease cancellation, creation of Vendors for approval by senior Air Force management.
- Correspond with Overseas Leasing in Australia and agents in Malaysia in regards to Tenant Agreements including raising, signing and issues management.
- Calculating and liaising with property agents for Utility payments and refunds.
- Liaise and coordinate with nominated professional cleaners for vacation, internal move and hand back cleaning in conjunction with TOLL move plans. Transition members to temporary accommodation.
- Raise outwards travel plan for RTA members including TOLL Forms for posting and internal moves and review outgoing consignment items and sizing to ensure they are not in excess of allowable amounts/items. Liaise with removal contractors for consignment packing and delivery.
- Conduct duties of the Housing Manager in their absence including attending Housing Inspections with Senior Non Commissioned Officer.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Any other duties as directed by the chain of command.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Excellent relationship and communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Malay.
- Self-motivated personality with good interpersonal attributes.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must pass pre-employment medical examination prior to employment acceptance.
- Must pass Malaysian Police History clearance check prior to employment acceptance.
- Security Clearance for base and system access (19 Squadron will organise).

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Tertiary education or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in government administration or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Personal car and drivers’ licence.
