**Market Research and Analysis**:

- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential partners, and emerging trends.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify gaps and areas for growth.

**Strategic Planning**:

- Develop and implement business development strategies and plans aligned with company goals.
- Identify right target markets and segments for expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with product development, marketing, and sales efforts.

**Lead Generation and Prospecting**:

- Identify potential partners through various channels such as networking, referrals, online research, and industry events.
- Qualify leads based on their fit with the company's offerings and capabilities.

**Relationship Building**:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Engage in regular communication to understand their needs and address concerns.

**Partnership Development**:

- Identify and establish partnerships with other businesses, vendors, or service providers to enhance the company's offerings.
- Negotiate terms and agreements for partnerships and collaborations.

**Proposal Development and Presentation**:

- Create compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
- Tailor proposals to address client needs and showcase the value proposition of the company's products or services.

**Sales Support**:

- Collaborate with the partner sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, information, and leads to close deals.
- Assist in preparing sales contracts and agreements.

**Negotiation**:

- Lead negotiations with potential partners and stakeholders to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Ensure that contracts and agreements align with the company's objectives.

**Metrics and Reporting**:

- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development efforts.
- Prepare regular reports for management, showcasing progress, successes, and areas for improvement.

**Networking**:

- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build connections and stay updated on industry trends.
- Represent the company professionally and seek out opportunities for collaboration.

**Innovation and Feedback**:

- Gather feedback from clients and partners to drive continuous improvement of products and services.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and suggest new ideas to the management team.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Develop budgets and forecasts for business development activities.
- Ensure that initiatives are aligned with allocated resources.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.

**Training and Mentoring**:

- Train and mentor junior business development staff if applicable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business development: 2 years (preferred)
- IT: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Mandarin (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
