The Account Assistant/Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting functions within the charity organization. This position entails a blend of administrative tasks, financial record-keeping, and communication with donors, partners, and internal stakeholders. The Account Assistant/Executive works closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Financial Record-keeping**:Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, donations, and other financial transactions.

**2. Assisting in Budget Management**: Support senior accountants in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor budget expenditures and assist in identifying variances for corrective action.

**3. Donor and Partner Communication**: Serve as a point of contact for donors and partners regarding financial matters. Respond to inquiries, provide financial reports as needed, and ensure transparency in financial transactions.

**4. Grant Management Support**: Assist in the administration of grants, including proposal preparation, grant reporting, and compliance monitoring. Maintain grant-related documentation and ensure adherence to grant requirements.

**5. Financial Analysis**: Contribute to financial analysis efforts, including trend analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modelling. Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.

**6. Audit and Compliance Assistance**: Support the finance team during audits by preparing documentation, reconciling accounts, and addressing auditor inquiries. Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

**7. Administrative Support**: Provide administrative support to the finance team, such as scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and assisting with special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least one (1) year of working experience in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- With Autocount knowledge will be advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
