**Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes with your speciality**

**Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you**

**Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus**

**Cooks consistently and enthusiastically on a high level**

**Making sure his / her station and its environment (Kitchen and Store Rooms) is spotless clean and hygiene is kept up at all times**

**Maintains personal tidy appearance and works in a highly hygiene manner**

**To understand and be aware at all times of food costs and percentages and understand how daily departmental costs influence profit and loss results**

**Controls incoming goods and stores it in perfect conditions**

**To monitor stock movement, to ensure stock security**

**To ensure minimum kitchen wastage**

**To assist with the provision of training and development for department staff in kitchen procedures**

**To ensure knowledge of the product is maintained and communicated to all relevant personnel**

**To work with the Executive Chef to ensure the mis en place I completed**

**To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately**

**To comply with all good wood policies and procedures to ensure that all statutory regulations are observed**

**To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies**

**To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required**

**To perform any additional duties and responsibilities when requested by the management**

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
