Assistant Manager, Group Tax

**Job Description**:
- To undertake research to prepare ad hoc tax advice on all tax related matters for group of companies to ensure all projects and investments are undertaken in the most tax efficient structure.
- To develop and maintain group’s compliance framework to ensure internal practices adhere to applicable tax laws and regulations.
- To assist Section Head in delivering value added services to group companies for any tax planning initiatives to reduce tax liability, minimize tax litigation and yield productive investment without compromising any tax obligations.
- To develop training programs and provide tax trainings / updates to finance teams.
- Work closely with peers and business units in managing tax audits.
- To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in tax matters preferably in tax advisory / consultancy set-up
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and attention to details
