Assistant Manager, Tax

To oversee and manage all tax matters including deferred taxation of the Group of Companies including tax planning, compliance and reporting. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize companies’ tax liabilities. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where these companies operate. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities. Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate the impact. Serve as the technical person specializing in accounting standards, pronouncement, and training. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Train and educate staff on accounting standards, pronouncements, and related matters. Provide technical accounting guidance to other departments as needed.
